PSG's Intelligent voice services, extend functionality and capability of the PSTN
Also known as IP Centrex or hosted telephony, this is a leap forward for businesses that do not wish to tie up capital investment and be future proofed against face paced technology evolution.
alwaysON provides very intelligent network based voice applications that enable our customers to work flexibly without any restraints on geographic location. Calls can be routed anywhere on the VPN. Simultaneous calls may be routed to multiple locations anywhere in the world. Once a call is answered, it may be transferred anywhere ONnet or OFFnet. Virtual call centres become a reality and are an effective way to increase business productivity. alwaysON has developed a world leading IP Centrex solution that enables conventional PABXs and PSTN circuits to be linked seamlessly without necessitating the replacement of existing investments.
Intelligent SmartOffice linked with IP Centrex enables centralisation of business voice services
The alwaysONSmartOffice™ uses intelligent gateway devices that sit between the Customer PABX, ISDN PSTN, Mobile and IP Network. alwaysONVPN™ core application servers provide network voice intelligence to deliver advanced business communications services and cost savings benefits to PABX users.
There is seamless integration into the existing PABX environment, retaining personal user DDI and extension numbers.
Cost savings are realised by (i) using alwaysONcore™ for PSTN calls (ii) a direct GSM connection to avoid high charges for fixed to mobile calls (iii) using VoIP to get free inter-site calls over the alwaysONVPN™ managed IP network.
- e-Voice Mail
A complete voicemail system for any ISDN PBX and the perfect combination of Email and Voicemail.
Benefits: Complete, easy to use Voicemail, which uses the existing Email system for storage of Voicemails. Now Voicemail messages can be as easy to manage as Emails (store, re-organise, forward, move, delete and search).
Unlike PABX-based Voicemail systems, there is no limit to the number of stored messages, space of stored messages, number of voicemail users and length of time messages can be stored. The user thus has complete control.
- Direct Fax to Email for everybody
The alwaysONSmartOffice™ integrates incoming and outgoing fax support. Incoming faxes use the same DDI telephone number of the employee (see One-Number above) or dedicated fax numbers. Outgoing faxes can be sent from each PC using a print driver.
Benifits: Users receive confidential faxes directly via their email, faxes are easy to forward, move, delete, search and organise. Faxes are no longer lost, and paperwork is eliminated. This facilitates the transition to a full email commercial activity without losing fax communications.
- One Number
Imagine One Telephone Number - your regular office number but also used for your faxes, to reach your mobile and for messages. The alwaysONSmartOffice™ uses existing office phone numbers for all these services.
Benefits: All users continue to use their existing DDI phone numbers and gain productivity features such as automatic redirections to another phone or GSM device; voice mail; use the same DDI number as a personal virtual fax number and then allow faxes to be forwarded directly to your email.
- Web User Interface
alwaysONSmartOffice™ provides a Web User Interface to manage your communications. It includes Click to Dial, a complete call log and an easy to use phone redirection set-up.
Benefits: Users can easily set the rules for their telephone. Contrary to cumbersome Centrex star services and several other special code series (sometimes difficult to remember) alwaysON offer an easy to use Web-based interface to manage your personal telephone communications.
- Outlook Integration
The alwaysONSmartOffice™ integrates Outlook, email and contact applications with your PBXs. Click to Dial lets you use phone numbers from Outlook to make calls with your regular telephone.
Benefits: The user can click on any contact to automatically dial the number. The user's own telephones rings when the other number is reached. When receiving an incoming call, users will see the name of the caller on the Outlook screen and can then decide how to handle the call - take the call, forward the call, send the call to their voice mail. The user also has access to a full call activity report.
