The on-premises telephone system was end of life and no longer maintained. PSG Networks were asked to provide ad-hoc support for the system - review the monthly spend and compare the market for alternative solutions. Tax & Figures wanted a solution that enabled workplace flexibility, to empower employees to work from the office or remotely.
With limited system functionality, the additional cost of upgrading and the impending ISDN switch off, the decision was taken to migrate from on-premises hardware to a hosted Unified Communications Platform.
Our original on-premise telephone system was no longer fit for purpose, PSG Networks went above and beyond to meet our business needs delivering workplace flexibility with the Horizon Cloud PBX solution.
Business Principle, Tax & Figures
The ISDN lines and on-premises PBX have gone. To enable this transition, PSG replaced the ISDN circuits with an Assured Converged DSL service. Converged Broadband provides high quality internet and IP telephony access on a single broadband connection, from a single supplier, and backed up by exceptional UK-based support.
PSG overlaid the Horizon Cloud PBX, a complete hosted communications service that provides businesses with extensive fixed and mobile telephony capabilities, accessed via an easy-to-use web portal.
The main office number and direct dialling number range were transitioned to the hosted platform. New desktop SIP phones were deployed and the mobile applications installed.

The Unified Communications platform provides a robust and reliable agile working tool, enabling Tax & Figures employees to work any time, any place from any device.
PSG manages the platform, including system upgrades. Deployed with no upfront costs on hardware or software, and no costly PBX maintenance or upgrades to schedule. Tax & Figures take advantage of low-cost and free IP calling in a bundled package. The solution is priced on a per-user basis with all items rolled into a monthly fee.
PSG Networks customer service is second to none, as was the delivery of the solution. The Horizon Cloud platform has had a significant positive impact on the business.
